Spring Break!

Mike and I are spending my spring break in Edinburgh. It may be rainy and cold, but we are having a good time.

Snow Day!

10 inches of snow in metro Denver + a snow day from school = skiing in the mountains.

Mike and I spent the day skiing thanks to a snow day.

Spring's Song

It was hard not to notice the birds out in full force today. Although I hope spring is here to stay, I know that snow is once again in the forecast for the Denver metro area.

Thinking Spring!

Yesterday, the Denver Metro Area got about 1/2 foot of snow. I am hoping spring is just around the corner.

Changing Perspectives

As a part of my weekly challenges, I had to take 20 pictures of the same object. After about 100 pictures, these are my 20 best.

Daily Shoot: Two Minute Walk

"Grab your camera and walk 2 minutes in any direction. Stop. Find a photo worth making from where you stopped and post it."

Interestingly enough, the owner of these peppers is a teacher at a middle school not too far from the high school I work at. He was sitting on his porch and we started talking about peppers and work and how crazy education is.

Google Swag

As a Google Certified Teacher, I was a Lead Learner at the Google Workshop for Educators in Aurora, Colorado on Saturday. Here is some Google swag that the participants got.

Snapped a few action shots of us climbing on Monday in the ice park. This climb was about 30 meters long.
